About Tina
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, trauma, grief, or the weight of difficult experiences on your own. My hope is to provide a space where you can slow down, feel genuinely heard, and begin making sense of what you're going through. Therapy isn't about having all the answers—it's about working together to understand what's keeping you stuck and helping you move toward healing.
I work with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My approach is both holistic and evidence-based because I believe our emotional well-being is connected to every part of our lives—including our physical health, relationships, daily habits, and personal values. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll explore the bigger picture and identify practical steps that support lasting change.
Every person's story is different, so I tailor therapy to your unique needs instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building skills you can use outside of our sessions. My goal is for therapy to feel collaborative—you are the expert on your life, and I'm here to guide and support you along the way.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Long before I became a therapist, I was fascinated by people's stories. Traveling throughout the United States and internationally gave me the opportunity to meet people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. Those conversations deepened my appreciation for the resilience, strength, and uniqueness of every person I met, and ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in counseling.
Whether you're facing a recent challenge or have been carrying emotional pain for years, you don't have to navigate it alone. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you work toward greater healing, hope, and a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.
