About Nicole
Life can bring seasons that feel overwhelming—whether you're navigating trauma, parenting challenges, relationship struggles, ADHD, or a major life transition. You don't have to face those moments alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward healing and growth.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing a variety of challenges, including trauma, PTSD, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I believe every person's story matters, and I take time to understand not only what you're facing today but also the experiences that have shaped who you are. Together, we'll identify practical strategies that help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
My approach to therapy is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and challenged. As we build trust together, I'll gently encourage you to look at patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. My style is honest and direct when it's helpful, always grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship and a genuine commitment to your growth.
Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked in public policy. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for resilience, service, and the importance of advocating for others during difficult seasons of life. Today, they continue to shape the way I show up for my clients—with compassion, steadiness, and a willingness to help people move toward meaningful change.
I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they pursue healing and a more fulfilling life. Whether you're working through a difficult season or seeking deeper personal growth, we'll partner together to help you move forward with greater confidence and hope.
