About Emma

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've been carrying difficult experiences on your own. My goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, feel truly heard, and know that your story will be met with kindness, empathy, and without judgment. I believe healing begins when people feel safe enough to be their authentic selves.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, women's issues, relationship and family conflict, self-esteem, school-related stress, ADHD, and spiritual exploration. I understand that no two journeys are the same, so I take time to get to know you, your experiences, and what matters most to you. Together, we'll work toward meaningful goals at a pace that feels both comfortable and encouraging.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and faith-informed counseling when desired, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and values. I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship we build together. I'll listen with compassion, help you explore patterns that may be contributing to your struggles, and support you as you develop practical tools for healing and growth.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University and have experience working in both community mental health and private practice settings. Those experiences have allowed me to support people from many different backgrounds and life circumstances, reinforcing my belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, or simply longing for a place where you can be yourself, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you discover greater peace, resilience, and hope.
