About Brittney

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself, knowing you'll be met with compassion, encouragement, and genuine support. I believe healing doesn't have to feel heavy all the time—there's room for hope, laughter, and celebrating progress along the way.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and a variety of other life challenges. I also provide EMDR therapy for clients processing traumatic experiences. I believe every person's story is unique, so I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals before creating a treatment plan that's tailored specifically to you.

My approach is warm, upbeat, and engaging. I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, blending evidence-based techniques with a collaborative style that keeps therapy practical and meaningful. I want our sessions to feel like a partnership—one where you're encouraged, gently challenged when needed, and equipped with tools you can confidently apply in everyday life.

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. Whether you're working through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm passionate about helping you discover your strengths and build a future that feels more hopeful, balanced, and authentic.

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you take the next step toward healing and growth.
