About Allison

Life doesn't always go the way we expect, and sometimes we need a place where we can be completely honest about what we're carrying. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—without pressure to have everything figured out. I believe therapy should feel genuine, supportive, and practical, with plenty of room for honest conversations, meaningful growth, and even moments of laughter along the way.

I work with young adults, adults, and families navigating grief, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional stress, and personal growth. I know that every person's story is different, so I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, values, and goals before tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs. Whether you're facing a difficult season or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to help you move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach is down-to-earth, authentic, and collaborative. I draw from Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, while taking a holistic view of healing that considers the mind, body, and spirit. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to be yourself, but also challenged to grow. As our relationship develops, I'll offer honest feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and gently encourage you to look at patterns that may be keeping you from the life you want. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools you can use in everyday life.

I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in North Carolina. My experience in community mental health, private practice, and hospice care has deepened my appreciation for the resilience people demonstrate during life's most challenging seasons. Those experiences continue to shape the way I care for my clients—with compassion, authenticity, and a belief that meaningful change is always possible.

Whether you're working through loss, navigating change, strengthening relationships, or seeking personal growth, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you build a life that feels more connected, balanced, and true to who you are.
